IT Support Technician
This is an on-sight technical support contract position with the following duties and responsibilities.
- Provide onsite technical support for computer systems, including software, hardware, and network systems.
- Manage tickets through Tek1Scale ticketing system and/or ServiceNow, while receiving inbound technical support issues from business company employees.
- Escalates problems to other network or system support teams when a problem cannot be easily identified and corrected in a timely manner.
- Diagnose requests and incidents and the impact on daily operations and set expectations with the customer.
Log all contacts, details and troubleshooting steps. - Install software using applicable techniques according to client needs.
Alert management to emerging trends in incidents. - Follow management guidance, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users
Minimum Qualifications: Two Year college Degree in Computer Science, BS preferred. CompTIA A+ Certification is required. US Citizenship is required.
Java Stack Developer
This is an on-site highly technical on-site contract developer position with the following proficiencies. Responsibilities for this role include but not limited to : Designing, developing, and deploying entire web applications; Creating new websites and updating existing ones; Ensuring the responsiveness, performance, and security of applications.
Frontend Development:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript: Foundational languages for structuring, styling, and adding interactivity to web pages.
- Frontend Frameworks: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for building dynamic user interfaces.
Backend Development:
- Java: The core language for building robust and scalable server-side logic.
- Spring Framework & Spring Boot: Popular frameworks for developing enterprise-level applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Hibernate & JPA: Tools for Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) to interact with databases.
- RESTful APIs: Designing and implementing APIs for communication between the frontend and backend.
- Advanced Java Concepts: Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, data structures, algorithms, and concepts like concurrency (e.g., Stream API).
Database Management:
- SQL and NoSQL Databases: Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and potentially NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Database Integration: Ability to connect and interact with databases from the Java application, often using ORM tools.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of work experience and BS in Computer Science, MS preferred. US Citizenship is required.
